Terms of Service

1. The Service

Hulab ("the Service", "we", "us") is a web application at hulab.app that generates images and videos from reference material you upload, using third-party AI models. The Service is operated by an individual sole proprietor; the operator's contact is support@hulab.app.

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@hulab.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms, without refund of unused credits.

3. Credits and Payments

The Service is prepaid. You buy credits in packages shown on the Pricing page; each generation deducts the number of credits displayed before you confirm it. The final charge is based on the actual cost reported by the AI provider and may differ slightly from the estimate.

Payments are accepted in cryptocurrency through a third-party payment processor. Credits are added to your balance once the processor confirms the payment on-chain. We are not responsible for delays, incorrect amounts or losses caused by sending funds to a wrong address or network.

Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred between accounts or exchanged back into currency.

Refunds. Credits spent on a generation that produced a result are not refundable, regardless of how you judge the result. Credits are automatically returned to your balance only when the AI provider fails to produce any result and does not charge us. Credit packages are not refundable once purchased.

Prices in credits may change. Changes do not affect credits already on your balance.

4. Acceptable Use

You may upload and generate only content you have the right to use. You must not use the Service to:

• Upload or generate images or videos of real, identifiable people without their explicit consent, or create content that presents a real person as doing or saying something they did not.
• Upload or generate any sexual or suggestive content involving minors, or any content depicting a person who is or appears to be under 18 in a sexual context.
• Generate content that is illegal where you live or where the Service is operated, including content that incites violence, promotes hatred or facilitates fraud.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent generated content as authentic photography or footage.
• Upload material that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights of third parties.
• Attempt to bypass the Service's limits, reverse-engineer it, or use it to train competing models.

We may review uploaded and generated content for compliance. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section, and we may report illegal content to the relevant authorities.

You are solely responsible for how you use the content you generate and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

5. Your Content

You keep all rights to the material you upload ("Inputs") and, to the extent permitted by law, to the images and videos the Service generates for you ("Outputs").

By uploading Inputs you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transmit them to AI providers solely to operate the Service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we must retain it to comply with law.

We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train models, and we do not share them with third parties other than the AI providers that process your requests.

You are responsible for making sure your Inputs do not violate anyone's rights and that your use of Outputs complies with applicable law.

6. Third-Party AI Providers

Generations are performed by external AI providers. We route your request to a provider, pass on the result and charge credits based on the provider's reported cost.

Providers may be unavailable, slow, or may refuse a request under their own content policies. We cannot override a provider's refusal. When a provider fails without producing a result, the reserved credits are returned to your balance automatically.

We may change which providers we use, add or remove models, and adjust credit prices accordingly.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generation will meet your expectations. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, inconsistent or unsuitable; you accept this when you use the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit or data, or any claim arising from your use of Outputs. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination, Changes and Contact

You may close your account at any time from Settings. Unused credits are forfeited on closure. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms; in that case unused credits are not refunded.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the Service at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
